Setting Up Your Outlook® Express Signatures

To add an electronic signature to your Outlook Express client system, first select the “Tools” menu and then “Options.”

Make sure that you select the Signatures tab, then click the “New” control button.

This opens the lower half of the window (the editor) where you type in the text for the signature. You have the choice of selecting a pre-designed file for the signature, or creating a new signature file right in the window. In this example, we have elected to create a new signature in the window. Type in the text as you want it to appear, then click the “Advanced” control button.

In the advanced settings window, you can set the new signature as the default for one or more of your accounts. Place a check in the desired control boxes, then click “OK” to confirm your settings and to establish your new signature file.
